Who are we

How to contact us

The Clarence-Rockland Environmental Society (CRES) is a group of residents from all parts of the municipality who want to raise environmental awareness and protection. They gathered for the first time in the spring of 2003 and continue to meet every 4th Tuesday of the month, 7:00 p.m., at Ste-Trinité School, 879, rue Saint-Joseph in Rockland.

They discuss and plan ways of encouraging our community to more fully understand, preserve, promote and enjoy our precious urban and rural greenspace. New members are most welcome.

Clarence-Rockland Environmental Society 2011 Community Clean-up - Apr.30

The Clarence-Rockland Environmental Society (CRES) together with the municipality and partners
(Canadian Tire, L'Escale) is organizing the 2011Clarence-Rockland community Spring Clean-up.

For more information or if you would like to volunteer, contact Mr. Denis Longpré at (613) 446-6022 ext: 2299 or Mrs. Danièle Vinette at (613) 446-4957. You can also check out the City of Clarence-Rockland website, here.

On a related note, the Canaan Road clean-up will take place a little farther along, in May, because of the water in the ditches... they always need a few more weeks for conditions to dry.

Clarence-Rockland Spring Clean-Up 2010

Large areas of Clarence-Rockland are more garbage free thanks to the annual CRES- sponsored Clarence-Rockland Spring Clean-Up.
