Not long after starting on the piano, she learned to play enough chords on guitar to accompany people singing, or playing violin or harmonica.  She also learned a few songs on the button accordion and played them once in a while at jam sessions with friends and on camping trips.   Since the early days, she has become quite accomplished on the button accordion.
