Please join us for some fellowship and joy for any of the following events or Worship Services:

Police Checks are necessary for all those who have a leadership role in the Parish, and have never had one done or those checks over 3 years old.

We are looking for Junior Leaders for our Youth Group.  Do you know anyone in Grades 9 - 12 who need volunteer/community hours that would have a love of Christ and our young folk to do this work for this exciting new venture in the Parish?

Our latest Outreach project for 2010 & 2011 will be to support Cornerstone in their Project of Hope. Please see information sheet for further details.  Envelopes will be provided.

Please note that the Women's Friendship Circle is still looking for Canadian Tire Money.

Saturday, November 20th, St. James Annual Craft Fair and Luncheon, 10:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.

Monday, November 22nd,  Country Haven Hymn Sing, beginning at 10:30 a.m.  All Welcome to join in!

Monday, November 29th, Carols & Sing-a-long at Country Haven, Almonte at 10:30a.m.

 

DECEMBER 2010

Sunday, December 5th, St. John's Annual Memorial Tree Lighting following the Worship Service.

Sunday, December 12th, White Gift Sunday at St. John for outreach to needy families.

Sunday, December 12th, St. James Twilight Lessons and Carol Service, at 4:00 p.m. with the young peoples Nativity presentation.  We will begin the service in the Church.  Pot Luck supper to follow.  Come and get into the Spirit of the Season and sing some of your favorite carols.  This year we will also be doing our part for the Anglican Church of Canada's "Silent Night" project. 

Into the New Year:

St. John's 100th Anniversary Project: Refurbishing the Sunday School Room.  This project will begin in January 2011 and will be finished and given to the Glory of God and in Thanksgiving for our 100 years of service, at Easter.  Anyone who would like to help out with materials, donations or time and talent...please speak to one of the Warden's.  Thank you

Annual Meetings:

St. John Church Annual Vestry Meeting, January 16th following the service

St. James Church Annual Vestry Meeting, January 23rd following the service.

Parish Annual Vestry Meeting and Parishoner Appreciation Lunch, January 30th following the combined service at St. James.

The Youth Group are planning a swimming event in January and a Spaghetti Dinner in February.
