Join our stamp enthusiasts in a morning of sharing and collecting. Tuesday, Jan 18, 9:30-11:30 am – Workshop to make Bed Mats for Haiti out of milk bags. The workshop will teach us how to collect, cut, roll and crochet the bed mats. If you have a 7 or 8 mm crochet hook bring it along. Please register in advance for this worthwhile project. Wednesday, Jan 19, 7 pm – Cribbage Tournament. Join the Crib Gang for an evening of cribbage, prizes and treats. Saturday, Jan 22, Feb 19, Mar 19, 7 pm – Card Party. Thursday, Mar 3, 9:30 am – Collette Vacations will take us on a virtual tour of future travel opportunities that our Centre is offering. See the highlights of “Discover Switzerland and Austria”, “Discover Tuscany”, “The Canadian Rockies by Train”, and “Canon Country”. You can book your trips right at the Centre. Friday, Mar 4 – OACAO Dart Tournament. Today, we host seniors centres from across Eastern Ontario for a friendly tournament of darts. Tuesday, Mar 8, 9 am – Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast and Games. Start the day with breakfast, followed by a morning of pétanque-atout, curolling and bid euchre. Cost $6; for breakfast, prizes and games. Thursday, Mar 17 – St-Patrick’s Day Lunch. Today, we are all Irish so join the wearing of the green and celebrate the Irish. Tickets will be sold in advance for this popular event. Cost $9. Monday, Mar 28, 1 pm – Chic Flic “Morning Glory”. Pop and popcorn. $2 member, $3 non-member. Wednesday, Mar 30 and Thursday, Mar 31 – Daffodil Bake Sale with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. Please support our effort by baking and buying. Daffodils will also be on sale. |

Thursday, March 3, 9:30 am – Collette Vacations will present a visual tour of our featured travel opportunities: Discover Switzerland and Austria, Discover Tuscany and the Canadian Rockies by Train. A Centre tour of “Canon Country” for October 27/11 will also be featured. This will be the perfect opportunity to see the Grand Canyon and Vegas with friends. You can book all of these tours right at the Centre. Everyone is welcome. Saturday, Apr 30 – Upper Canada Playhouse in Morrisburg will present “Johnny and June Musical Tribute”, a tribute of the music legends Johnny Cash and June Carter.
