Liz's Music Together -- music and movement classes for preschool children and their parents

	Liz's Music Together Ottawa, Ontario This lively program of music and movement for babies through 7-year-olds and their grown-ups helps children achieve basic music competence through chants, songs, games, dances, and a big silly quotient!

A Music Together® class (for babies eight months old to children four years old) is based on the idea that making music with children, in the family, and in a community of families, enriches the lives of both children and parents, promotes musical growth in children, and should be fun! It is a relaxed, playful, participatory, exploratory experience, which allows children to develop their musical intelligence. Music Together parents discover what a powerful role model they are to their children, just by having fun with the music themselves. In doing so, they often find that their own musicality flourishes as well. Activities include small and large movement; free, expressive dance, rhythm and tonal patterns, instrument-playing, use of props such as scarves and balls, and opportunities for improvisation.
