This FAQ covers the impact that body jewellery, implants and tattoos have on the most common medical imaging tests and procedures. It is my original work, and is copyrighted. You are welcome to distribute this FAQ as long as nobody but me makes any money from it, and you give me all the credit! In addition, I'm not a doctor or a lawyer, I'm a retired x-ray technologist; like everything on the web, any action you take is purely at your own risk. Don't come crying to me if your rotten quality jewellery gets ripped out of your flesh by a big magnet (but I'd like to hear about it!).
