We
adopted Annabelle from the Petsmart at Innes and Cyrville at a pet
adoption weekend at the beginning of September 2011. We had been
looking for a new dog to join our family for over a year, visiting the
Ottawa Humane Society, asking friends and looking in the paper.
That
day we had spent the morning at the humane society, gone for lunch and
even visited a pet store. We needed pet supplies and came into
the store and discovered much to our delight that the SPCA of Western
Quebec was visiting with dogs available for adoption.
It was
love at first sight. We knew in a heartbeat we had found a new
member of our family. The adoption process was quick yet
relaxed. We were given a room to visit with Annabelle to see how
she responded to us. We brought her home that day.
She
has graduated from both puppy & intermediate dog training. She
is very intelligent! She was spayed in January in
Gatineau
at the clinic where the SPCA has an agreement. She loves to play
hide and seek and is very agile.
She
LOVES walks and we go for many every day. She is a very social
dog and loves to visit with other furry pawed friends. We are
absolutely in love with her and her playful, energetic nature.
We
thank you for your care and concern for Annabelle and for others like
her that need a home. Keep up the great work.
Your
friends,
Suzanne, Bernie, Matthew, Sarah, Annabelle & Count
