Archie was adopted in December 2007 and was shy, refused to walk on a leash, and could not walk up the stairs. Within the first week, he began to feel more comfortable around people, proudly walked up and down the stairs, and enjoyed walking on a leash.
In January, we brought him to Level I classes at Carolark School for Canine Behaviour in Kanata, ON and he really began to blossom. It wasn't long before we realized we had the smartest dog in the class (maybe we are a little biased!). Now, he can sit, stay, lie down, roll over: overall he is well behaved, calmer, and much more confident. We are currently in the process of signing him up for Level II classes to keep up with the training. In the future, we will also be taking him to agility training!
Around the house, he is a happy, quiet boy. He LOVES being around people and cuddling. He is such a good boy and a wonderful addition to our family. Erin
