Arnie adopted August 1, 2012 It was once said, “Good things come to those who wait”. We have just experienced that! Back in March 2009 we lost our dear companion, Peggy, after 12 years. She had left such a huge gap in our hearts and in our home. We had been searching for another companion ever since. After many visits to the SPCA, we finally met Arnie.
Arnie has come into our home and has become the missing piece we have been so searching for. Arnie has made himself at home and is a beautiful friend. He greets everyone in the family with a great enthusiasm that is contagious; he has stolen every heart that he comes in contact with! Arnie loves to go for walks and is a great listener. He enjoys long naps on the couch after playing ball and enjoys being out on the garden.
Thank you for the wonderful work you do with these animals; although we know that not all stories have a happy ending, Arnie’s sure does! Another great saying applies here as well, GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES!! Stan and Marilyn

are grateful to the staff at the Aylmer SPCA who made it possible for
Arnie to join our family. He loves the grandkids and keeps up
with their energy. He loves to be petted and stroked under his
chin. He can’t talk but he is very good at letting you know when
he needs something.
