I adopted Bear in December 2007.  It was love at first sight!  His friendly disposition and gentle manner really won me over.
 
Bear has been a big hit with my family and friends!  He loves playing with the kids in my backyard!  Although he tends to keep the ball when you try to play fetch, and tries to make you chase him...Smart boy!

 
He is a very social guy, and loves going to the dog park and making new friends.  He's very patient and gentle with other animals.  If playing with a smaller dog, he will be extra careful as to not hurt him/her.  He's such a good boy!  He likes to snuggle up with my cat when I'm not around. (I've caught them a few times!!) He loves climbing and going for long hikes.

He loves cuddles and sleeping in my bed.  He takes up the whole bed!  He always greets me at the door with his 'hello dance':  he turns around in circles wagging his tail, with a big grin on his face.  Always great to come home to such a happy dog!
 
I am excited to see what the summer may bring for us.  I hope he enjoys swimming and camping as much as I do.  It will be a blast!
 

I love Bear very much and I am grateful that he chose me!
