Both little boys are doing very well.  They have settled into a very sweet relationship together.  They behave like littermates; sleeping together, grooming each other, and play, play, playing!!!  They like to play chase, and though Winnie is much faster, he slows to Benji's pace (I guess it
wouldn't be fun otherwise!).
 
They are both very settled in their home.  Winston will always be a nervous dog, I suppose, but he has come such a long way.  He is super cuddly with me, and has a few special favourites amongst our friends.  Benji also has settled into our routines.  He was at first quite aggressive at the door, but is much less so now.
 
Neither one is completely housetrained, but this has improved greatly.  I find it is mostly when I am away and the human boys are in charge.  I don't think they see the signals!  And timing ... I think it is me who is trained!
 
They run and run at the dog park, and it makes my heart sing, for both of course, but particularly for Winston when I think how he spent his first year in a cage.  This is one of his biggest joys.
