Thank you for allowing us to adopt the lovely feline "Belinda" on Saturday! We thought you might like to know how she is doing. She is settling in well. We have a small house, and have set her up in the living
room, where we fenced off a spacious area for her. She enjoys her own snuggly bed or curling up on top of her cat stand, from which she can survey her new domain. Our dog Jordi (we adopted him from you about 10 years ago -- thank you!) and our other cat Finnegan can see her and sniff noses. She purrs happily when we pat or hold her. We will keep her separate for another week or so, then gradually give her the run of the house. She has an appointment soon with our vet for a check-up. Like Finnegan, she
will be an indoor cat.

We changed her name -- hope you don't mind. Her official name is now "Black Beauty" (after a favourite horse novel), and we will likely call her Beauty or just BB for short. She is napping just now -- so cute!

We'll touch base again to update you. BB says "Hi!"
