My husband and I went to Petsmart on Innes Rd August 14th, 2011  to look at the dogs and pick up some cat supplies.

The SPCA was there with some of their adorable animals looking for their forever homes.

Low and behold ... there was Whybe, a Chihuahua/Pug cross ... now renamed Bluto.

As you can guess, we were instantly smitten and we had to take him home with us!!

Our two cats, Alfie and Sammy, had a little bit of acclimatizing to do, but now we are one big happy family.

I was also so impressed with the way the staff at the SPCA interacted with, and the professionalism they employ, in regards to the animals, I decided to become a volunteer!!!

Enclosed is a picture of Bluto, with my husband Daniel, after we gave Bluto his first bath.  He loved it!!!

There is also a picture of Bluto getting some sunshine and working on his tan on our back deck ... lol.  In 2 other photos, he is on our bed becoming a bed hog already!  In another, he is in the living room declaring he is king of the castle!!!

If anyone is looking to give a dog or cat a home and add some fun and companionship into your life/lives, I would highly recommend the SPCA of WESTERN QUEBEC.
