We did adopt Brooke - who we have been calling "Bonita". (Although often
'Nita for short.)  Everybody is in love with her, and she is adapting to her new environment very quickly. She is feeling very secure in the bedroom where we have placed her kennel, and has already gone in and fallen asleep in the kennel (open door) after a good walk/play. We have been spending a lot of time outside in her new big backyard, and she has been playing a lot with my sons - who are in the attached photo. (In the photo they are reading to her - "The Digging-est Dog"...) It was very hard for them to go to school today.

Thanks to everyone there for helping bring Bonita into our lives. I will send more photos soon.
