This
is Buddy (AKA Spook).
The first priority was to change his name from Spook to Buddy. I
guess he got that name because he was transferred to the Aylmer SPCA
around Halloween. He was found in a schoolyard smelling of skunk and
completely shaved, back in September. This was according to the
information in his file. The shelter thought he was about 10 months
old, turns out he's closer to 2 years old. Heaven only knows
what happened to him.
We
have had him for over a month now and he's gained a little over 1
pound. He is a 'huge' 7.3 lbs now!! When we got him he was only
6.1! Buddy loves the snow as long as it doesn't go below -10
degrees. We live in the country and he gets to travel all over the
miles of logging roads and skidoo trails that we have in the area. He
hasn't quite figured out the deer yet and he's smaller than the
rabbits! The squirrels give him a hard time.
The
most fun is when he plays with Charlie, our 65 lb Golden Retriever; he
can outrun her and fits into places that she cannot follow. He loves
to steal her toys and make a mad dash under the bed leaving Charlie
skidding across the floor trying to catch him. They both enjoy lying
in the sun after a hard day of playing.
Buddy
wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
