We all made it home safely, and all is going very well indeed.  Buddy and Kes are resting companionably,
enjoying a sunbath together as I write (photos enclosed). 

We could not have been blessed a better beginning thanks to these two, he is a wonderful boy and they definitely have chemistry.  There is no doubt whatsoever they like each other, and with the benefit of observing them play, establishing their own order and understandings, we are
extremely pleased to see there is fondness between them. 

They are both similarly playful, and seem to "get" each others style.  They will of course be feeling each other out for the next many days/weeks, and we are there, supervising their play and interactions, not allowing them to get too excited.  A short verbal  "shhcchhttt" followed with a gentle "down" "calm" and when they have both calmed and relaxed, we allow the play to resume.  So far they are doing wonderfully together, and we are further encouraged that he possesses the "energy" match we were hoping to find to enrich our little pack.
