Cali

I don't know if you guys will remember this little face, but a year ago a very eager family walked into the SPCA with intentions of finding a pet a forever home.  Molly was her original name until a very long hunt was over and this beautiful puppy was brought to our attention.  Within minutes of seeing her and learning her personality, we decided that the name Cali was a much more suitable name for her.

As we were looking at her profile, we were informed that she was a Boston Spaniel.  At her four month point, we, about a hundred people and her vet all came to the same conclusion:  that she was certainly not a Boston Spaniel pup, but instead was a Husky/Shepherd/Collie mix.

She has been the best addition to our family and continues to amaze us with her intelligence and beauty, along with providing lots of love and happiness.  In my eyes, she is the cutest, gentlest, perfect dog.

This picture was taken a year ago today, when she was welcomed into our life and family.  I gave her this Crocodile and it is still around a year ago today, helping keep the bad dreams away, vet visits, and accompanies her throughout the day/nights.

This is Cali showing her personality off by lying down relaxing on the lawn chair as I come out with intentions of playing with her.

Update February '14

Just wanted to give an update on Cali, whom we adopted from the SPCA in August 2011.  Cali is a 2 year old happy and healthy little girl.

She loves to give kisses, chase squirrels, go for walks, play tug of war, and play soccer.  Her favorite thing to do is play in the snow and dip her face under it.

Cali is a wonderful and affectionate dog, along with being adorable and intelligent.  She is very much loved by her family and we definitely receive the love back!

We do not know what we would do without her or how we ever came across such a wonderful dog.  Cali is the best dog and we could not ask for anything better.
