Daisy is doing wonderfully. She's a ball of energy, super smart and a
little bit 'clown like'. She's so quiet, she doesn't bark (seriously,
she
only barks in her sleep or when she hears a dog on tv). When it's
time to go outside, she rings the bell on the door and waits till
you're outside
before she exits the house ... never takes off running.
She rests quietly by the fire (and our feet) and doesn't jump on the
couch. Even when she gets her weekly brushing, she just lays there
... I guess it's like a spa treatment for her!
The first few weeks were pretty cute, as she was learning so much.
Stairs, leash walking ... even just walking on grass. So fun to watch
her exploring.
The only incidents we've had is her 'love' for her pillows.
After 3 different times of Daisy ripping apart her pillows while in
her crate, we learned our lesson. She now has a big blanket and
pillows are not in the crate anymore.
She has a new buddy as well; Poppy, a seal point Siamese kitten we
picked up from the Humane Society. What a pair they are!! Daisy
plays so nice, hasn't bitten her ... just lets Poppy jump all over
her. So cute to watch.
