Frank & Nancy

Hi everyone at the SPCA, my name is Franky (Chocolate point Siamese).  I was adopted from the SPCA of Western Quebec in January 2007.  I was lucky to have Jennifer send my picture to her parents in the Thousand Islands who already had a Siamese cat named Sinatra (he's from Nova Scotia) - what a gentle soul he is.  Anyway my new parents saw my picture and asked when they could adopt me ... I was living the good life in days.  I was very shy at first, I mostly hid under the bed for the first 3 months.  Now I own this place ... let my reword myself, I owned the joint till Nancy was adopted 2 months ago from the SPCA of Western Quebec!!!  That's a whole other story.

Nancy (a torti Siamese) came to the shelter as a transfer from the Valleyfield pound.  She was very sick and Jennifer - who has 6 dogs - fostered her for 6 weeks.  I would hear these scary stories when Jenn came to visit her parents how Nancy was so mean ... she was bad tempered, apparently it took 2 people to hold her down to give medications and she would attack the ones who were trying to help her.  All I could think was she better never come here ... Well, of course Mom and Dad met her at Jenn's and fell in love with her (she has 2 personalities) ... definitely needs meds for her mood swings.  Where was I, oh yeah, so she joined our family when she was all better and she's such a bossy little thing.  She takes over all the beds, sits on Mom's lap all the time and gives Franky and I the hate stare.

We have learned to love her (NO CHOICE REALLY); she can be cool sometimes, we do play and all cuddle together when it rains.  Maybe I love her cause I feel sorry for her; I think she had a hard life outside, she's a real hunter.  We are happy, the 3 of us; Mom and Dad have asked Jennifer not to send
any more pictures of Siamese ... (it was my request if the truth be known).  Franky AKA Barncat due to his size is a real pushover and could care less.  But now we have a FOSTER Timbit from the shelter (YOU all must know) in our home ... I just know he's staying.  I really hope Jennifer doesn't foster any more fuzzies cause they all end up here after.

Lots of hugs to the shelter from Franky (and Nancy ... she just jumped on me to write her name) - it's going to be a long 15 years with her....
