Gigi is doing very well. Her eye infection has cleared up. She will continue to have ulcers on her eyes but they will not need surgery. She has adapted very well to her new home and follows me everywhere.
As you will see by the photos, she and Pogo are great pals. We go for walks twice a day and she is very good on leash, except when we meet other humans or dogs, as she really likes to socialize with everyone. She has made other doggie friends in the neighbourhood and everyone loves her.
She is completely housetrained now. I was putting her in her crate when I left the house for extended periods but now I let her have the run of the house as she has been very good (for up to six hours).
Gigi is very affectionate and loves to sit in my lap with Pogo but she does understand "no" as well and retreats to the "dog" chair or the crate without complaint.
I am very happy to have adopted Gigi - she is a remarkable little bundle of love. Terry
