Hello to everyone at the shelter who took care of me while I was still a pup. My new family spent the summer with me, taking me all over Ottawa and Gatineau to parks and paths for my daily walks. My favourite thing this summer was going camping and spending the whole day on the beach – swimming and sleeping in the sand.
I quickly made friends in my neighbourhood with Jack (a Jack Russell Terrier) and Ben (a Standard Poodle). Around the house, I have fun chewing on bones, playing catch and rolling in the snow. I love being around other dogs so much that my family started looking for a sister for me.
In November, Reese came home and we have been buddies ever since. Check out my smile the day we brought her home. We go for walks every day and we go to Bruce Pit at least once a week for a romp off-leash. I'm a great big sister and I'm looking forward to the summer so that I can go swimming again! Heidi
