is doing amazing, I have been meaning to email you, but it's been busy
the past few months.  I have actually discovered the missing
piece.  Even though I thought I was doing everything that I
needed to be doing to make her happy and content, there was still
something missing from the equation.  Jessie is EXTREMELY social.

          I
started taking her to "doggie daycare" one to three times a week at
Aldercreek Kennel in Petawawa.  They are fabulous, they really go
above and beyond.  They match up dogs according to personality
and put them together to play, if both owners are good with that.
They take them out for runs and all kinds of doggie fun.  I can
honestly tell you I cannot remember the last time she has had an
"episode" in the house, i.e., running around and play-bowing and
barking.  She has been so much better.

still thinks the cats are something she needs to chase, so we have
good and sturdy baby gates.  She's so playful and silly.  I
think we're finally able to see her real personality.  NO BITING,
woohoo.  We let her up on the couches with us, but when I take
her for a walk and take a seat on the bench, she hops up right next
to me, lol.  Passersby certainly stare, but to her it is no
          different than the couch.

          She'll
sit at the dinner table or the patio set if I leave the seats pulled
out; cute as it is I don't encourage THAT.  I also take her for
good long hikes almost everyday, shorter walks but more of them on
          others.

          I am
so glad we powered through, she is so worth it.  We love her so
much, she has settled in nicely.  I told her you were asking
about her, and I gave her lots of hugs for you :)
