We adopted Smokey on October 31, 2015 and wanted to let you know how things are going.

First off we aptly renamed him Kazimir (destroyer of peace) as he is delightfully annoying (as all kittens should be). He has adjusted well and is trying his best to get our cat Gulliver to play with him (with little success so far but we remain hopeful). We did wonder though if you knew anything about where he came from because he is a frenzied licker-sucker so we thought he might have been taken from his mother a little too soon. Any advice about that?

On the health front however, things are not quite so peachy: he was sneezing and had runny eyes and nose when we brought him home and the vet he saw on Wednesday November 4th gave him antibiotics because the phlegm was a little green - he got a clean bill of health other than that.  He goes back this week but we’re a little concerned as he still has diarrhea.  He seems to feel fine, however, and is incredibly snuggly and rambunctious so we’re not unduly worried.

We contacted Petsecure and will submit a claim for the visits to the vet and the medication once he’s all better.
