I
adopted Keesha (the SPCA had named her Tara) June 2008 when she was 6
months old. She just turned 3. I have had dogs growing up
but she is my first dog on my own. She was a blessing and I
don't know what my life would be without her and vice versa. She
was very timid when I got her and ran into her corner or bed when any
male came into the house for the first few months. She also got sick
in car rides from high anxiety. This passed after 7 months and
although she still does not care for the car she deals with it!
Keesha
is an amazing dog. She is an American Eskimo. I take her to my
soccer games where she is tied up and she just sits and watches.
People are amazed she is the only dog that does not bark! She
loves the dog park. Her buddy is my aunt's Pug who she lets jump
all over her and doesn't get upset when he constantly bites her hair
out of her tail! Her favourite toy is her monkey (she has gone
through 3 of them now) and her Kong when it is filled with peanut
butter!
She
loves people, kids, and my cat Hayley who is 18 and still is ruler of
the home. She is a princess and loves attention! Everyone
young and old has to stop and pet her. She brings smiles to me
and everyone around her!
I
believe in the SPCA and want to say "keep doing what you are doing!"
Thank-you again,
Catharine
