Princess Kelli became a significant member of our family about a month
ago. Our home has been filled with her happy wagging whippet
tail ever since and we couldn't be happier. Kelli loves to run,
sniff and play with her new doggie friends in the local dog park.
She
learned to swim in the Gatineau River and now we can't keep her out of
the water. This past weekend Kelli had her first canoe trip and did a
great job; she tried to help propel the boat with her paws and thought
the paddle looked like a yummy chew stick.
Kelli
also loves to cuddle after a fun day of playing - she's found all of
the comfy cushions, pillows and futons in the house which has earned
her the new nick-name prefix - Princess.
She is
adored by her new extended family too and her toy box is overflowing
with "welcome to the family" squeaky dog toys. She's learning how to
fetch, heel, sit and drop and she is really looking forward to Doggy
Manners school this fall.
We are
so happy that Kelli has joined our family and we're so grateful to her
foster family and the SPCA of Aylmer for the great care and love they
provided to Kelli in her first few months.
We love our new addition to the family and we feel so lucky to have
her in our life.

Update January ’11 …
Happy
New Year to you and the wonderful team at the Aylmer-Hull SPCA!
I've attached a Christmas photo of our beloved Kelli-pup; she still
loves her toys and got lots of presents for Christmas.
I've attached a couple more from this weekend as well if you'd like to
add them. Kelli was outside with us all weekend doing her favourite
winter activity - running through the snow in the woods!
