I was at the SPCA in Sept 2012, I was there to adopt a cat named Leah.
Leah was always overlooked because of her age, she was born in June
2008. I had heard from the staff she was there 17 months, wow
that is a long time living in a cage.
I fell in love with her the first time I set my eyes on her, she
looked like she had an attitude. I must say that she fits right
in with our family. I was told she wasn't too affectionate and
to let her come to us. Well that was an understatement.
Leah jumps on us when she sees us sitting on the couch, always looking
for some loving.
She has definitely completed our family, we are so happy to have her
be a part of it. I know she was going to be missed by the staff at
the SPCA and wanted to give you all an update on how she is doing.
Leah is doing fine and is loving looking outdoors and having so much
room to explore and make it her own. I am glad she accepted us
to be a part of her life. Thanks so much for the excellent care you
gave her while in your care.
Here are some pics of her. As you can see she has full reign of
the house. Keep doing what you're doing and helping these
helpless animals.
