I am sending some shots of "Pippa" who is
now "Lucy". She is doing really well, learning about everything in
the house and loving her new sister Christy. She is very sweet
and a fast learner, so while it is an adjustment, we are enjoying her
a lot. Best of luck with the adoptions!
Update
May '14
Lucy
is very playful and friendly and absolutely LOVES running around in
the back yard discovering birds, dandelions and branches.
She gets our other dog, Christy, and other family dogs to chase her,
but she is the fastest. We think she may be part whippet because of
her speed, her light frame, her small head and skinny arms, and her
sensitivity.
She has gained a few pounds (is now around 17 pounds from 13.8)
although the vet thinks she is just a light dog and will not get any
bigger.
She is fascinated by sounds and images of animals on t.v., more than
any dog I have seen! (Whippets are sight-hounds, so another clue we
think.)
Her house training is still in progress, although it's been 2 weeks
since her last accident (another clue to her not having been INSIDE a
home because she was not house trained in the least bit).
Anyway, here are some pics, and thanks again!
