On January 30th, my father and I made the 2.5 hour car ride from Montreal to Gatineau to adopt a puppy. We had seen 6 of the cutest puppies a couple of weeks earlier in St. Agathe and were told that they were being transferred to Gatineau for adoption.
When we finally got to the SPCA, we were shown the six cutest puppies … it was very difficult to choose but we finally decided on the smallest female of the litter. Our new puppy was perfect on the long car ride home and slept in my lap most of the way home.
When we got home, my brother and mother fell in love immediately. It has been two weeks since Maddie (that is what we named her) has joined our family and it has been wonderful … she is smart, playful, cuddly and our new best friend.
Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to adopt Maddie.
