Maddie (formerly Maggie) is doing just great at her new home in Buffalo, NY! Since her arrival from Gatineau on June 11, she has settled in and taken over the place.
She's got a great furry friend next door named Louie that she loves to run fences with, gets along great with her furry cousins Emma (a border collie) and Lizzy (a springer), and her schnauzer cousins Maggie, Rocket and Honey. She's enjoying walks in the neighborhood, terrorizing the local birds, squirrels and rabbits.
On June 26, she went downtown to take in a Buffalo Bisons AAA baseball game on Dog Day, and this past weekend she went to a cookout for our Independence Day (she also celebrated Canada Day July 1, sporting a red scarf for the occasion).
On
July 6, she got acquainted with her new stylist and is sporting a
super new haircut (and yet another scarf, rainbow, what a fashion
plate).
Update December ’11 … Maddie (formerly Maggie) the Scottie is still doing great. Since we took her home in June she has settled in nicely and was the star of our Christmas card.
