We brought a little guy home in January by the name of Rudolph.  We have renamed him Max.

I thought you might be interested in a little picture.  He's now almost 9 months old and an absolute doll!  We can have him off-leash, he's learned to roll over, crawl, beg, and he's now learning to twirl around :)  He and my children are best friends :)

Update September '15

Max is doing great! He's very obedient and is overjoyed to play with other dogs in the neighbourhood or on long walks. He even has a girlfriend (Katie!). He is excellent with children and has made leaps and bounds with his confidence in meeting new adults. He's become very playful (such a big improvement over his shy nature when we first brought him home all those months ago). During the summer he accompanied our 9 year old at soccer practices and games and the girls loved him. He was the team mascot haha!

Here are a couple of pictures of Max. In June, taking part in our street party. He loved all the neighbours, especially the children, who cuddled up to him. In August, on a hiking trail in Cape Breton in Nova Scotia. Max loved the family vacation, especially the moments which involved long walks :)

Max has a repertoire of tricks including the usual (sit, lie down, stay, come) plus a few fun ones (beg, crawl, twirl, hug, and his favourite: roll over).

Great dog, great fun to be around, and loves having us around too (phew!).
