Here is my baby!! These pictures were taken Easter weekend, at the dog park. Maya is fantastic! She gets on well with other dogs and when she tires out of running and playing she comes to me and sits next to me which is her way of saying "Mama, I'm tired, can we go now please?" She walks so well on leash and her off leash recall is fantastic. When we walk off leash we also practice our sit/stay and she will stay while I walk away and does not move until she is told to come. This of course gets her a treat, and lots of "good girl" and rubs! Maya is an absolute sweetheart and I am a VERY proud mama.
We walk at least twice a day, more often 3 times a day. And I
have a retired neighbour let Maya out in my fenced yard at lunchtime.

even
the cats curl up on Maya's bed with her. She really is a very
sweet, kind, loving and devoted dog. I can't thank you enough for her
presence in our lives.
