I just wanted to give you an update on Mika, the dog we had adopted about a month ago. Everything is going very well; she is having so much fun with our other dog, Mia, who is also a rescue from the SPCA. They are always playing together. Mika has helped Mia to get her out of her comfort zone, helped to be less afraid and taught her to play a lot more. Mika still needs a little more training on how to be around another dog since she is overly hyper and it's a little too much for other dogs, but she has been getting better each day.
She went to the cottage for the very first time last weekend and went very well. She had so much fun she was pooped when she came back home and was passed out all day; I had never seen that out of her haha.
She listens pretty well and is great with my daughter. My girl just loves Mika and Mia, she's always laughing when she sees them play or when they pass by her, she always wants to try and pet them and the dogs just let her even if sometimes she pulls on their hair they don't do anything. I could not have asked for anything better. The whole family is happy with both dogs, they bring us much joy!
