I would like to update you that Mindy, the shepherd pup mix that we adopted last month is doing exceptionally well!
Her legs were a little weak, a common problem for Shepherd puppies our vet tells us, but they have strengthened already so much in just one week. She has settled in wonderfully, is almost fully house trained, sleeps in her cage without fuss and is great with the kids!
Our other dog Oscar, a miniature Dachshund, loved her almost instantly (which was a surprise as he is somewhat a little bit of a spoiled Prince!). He has turned into a totally new dog, not barking, much more confidence, it's a very happy surprise. Oscar and Mindy spend their days going on multiple walks, playing in the back yard, wrestling with each other and cuddling with our children.
Thank you for the wonderful work you are doing saving these animals. Without your work, Mindy would have never come into our lives. She is a treasured member of the family now and we can't imagine our lives without her.
