Bow
wow! I joined my new family about 11 weeks ago, and now I can hardly
remember life without them. It didn't take me long to settle in.
I had an instant pal to hang out with; a little toddler gal who makes
a great playmate. She sometimes hugs me with great zeal, but I
don't ever complain. Who
would complain about an overly zealous hug? Not me - I know she
loves me, so I am as gentle as a lamb with her.
My adoptive parents are fun to walk and run with, although they don't
let me eat all the sticks and bits I find on our walks. They are
taking me to doggy classes, which is fun. Plus, I get extra
special treats those nights. And then there is the doggy park.
Ooh, that's been really super. And my cousins (who are also rescue
dogs) are so much fun to play with. My naps are amazing after
chasing about with the big dogs.
I think Granny and Grampy have a soft spot for me too. I get to play
in their yard some days, and explore their home. I think they
secretly want to adopt a dog too.
Life is grand. I often think of all the other nice pups and dogs
I met in my early days at the SPCA. I hope they have found great
homes too. It really doesn't take long to bond with a family and
learn the ropes, so I do hope prospective dog owners come to meet my
friends.
The SPCA folks were all so great to help match me with my family. We
are so happy together!
Thanks again.
