We are having a wonderful time with our new addition to the family.  Pippa AKA Pip, Pippy or Piporama has settled right in and is having a fine time.  She is much loved and just a little spoiled, particularly during parties of which there are many.
 

She enjoys having the house full of people and getting passed around, especially among the kids, and often goes to other people¹s parties to play with her canine friends.  She¹s also well acquainted with the local four-legged community in the neighbourhood and suffered a big crush on a little poodle last fall.
 

But without parallel is Pippy¹s love of the rat.  Well, the stuffed rat.  When I come home I place it under my foot and proceed to cook dinner.  Pippy, in a ferocious and unrelenting fashion, will attempt to extract it.  Every minute or so I send it careening across the room and she tears after it like a wild hyena, bringing it immediately back for more.  This goes on until I can take no more.  Pippy has never, ever given up before I have ...
