Hello to all the wonderful staff at the SPCA of Western Quebec! I'm sending an update on Sara (whom I adopted in August, 2009 when she was roughly 11 weeks old).
She is a lovely shepherd/lab mix (the dna test says she's approximately 70-80% German shepherd and 20-30% lab). She weighs only 50 pounds so I call her my "pocket shepherd"!
She had a great time at the cottage last summer and learned to swim--that was a lot of fun and we look forward to more swimming this coming summer! We have completed 2 levels of obedience and will be doing some more courses in the spring--in hopes of her becoming a great therapy dog.
She is great with kids, cats and other dogs. She loves car rides and playing with her friends. Her two best buds are Sophie (a great Pyrenees) and her "cousin", Buddy (a yorki-poo)! She is such a sweetheart--very affectionate, has zero aggression, and loves everyone she meets! She is super, I simply could not have adopted a better pup!
