We adopted Sierra (we changed her name from Maggie) from the SPCA of Western Quebec in February of 2009.  She is such a sweet dog!
 

For a girl who was pretty much an outdoor dog from what we have been told, she has adapted to indoor living quickly and comfortably.  She and our yellow lab, Folsom, spend the day running around chasing after each other, and she is learning how to play tug of war with the Kong, and fetch with the Frisbee.  She also loves to wrestle with Folsom until they are both so tired they just fall asleep wherever they are on the floor.

Sierra has mastered many new commands and enjoys having tasks to do.  Both our vet and we feel there is quite a bit of border collie in her as she loves to ‘herd’ everyone in the house.

She is beautiful, smart and affectionate, and absolutely loves to cuddle.  At first when we would leave to go to work, she would panic and cry as all of this was new to her, but after a couple of weeks she figured out that we keep coming back.

Sierra is a wonderful addition to our family and we are so glad that we found her, thank you!
