Peter
and I wanted to thank the SPCA of Western Quebec for introducing us
to our newest family member - Smoke! We have had him now for
three months and he is learning and growing every day. He now
knows how to sit, give paw, and is starting to learn lay down and
'kisses'.
When
we came to the SPCA we were just planning on 'looking' at what dogs
were there. But when we saw Smoke we knew we had to take him
home with us - I mean look at that face, how could you not? When
we first brought him home we didn't know what to expect - but he fit
in perfectly.
He is
now off-leash trained and loves going to the dog parks and playing
with all the other dogs. When at home he loves to cuddle with us
on the couch and enjoys his doggie bed beside us at night. He
loves to sit and watch T.V. and sometimes watches our pet rabbit, who
he has done surprisingly well with. We think in time they will
be good friends.
We
think this winter is the first time he has ever seen snow - judging
by his reaction. He was so excited to run around and jump in
every bit. He doesn't even seem fazed by the cold! We are
hoping he is the same way with the water once the summertime rolls
around. He could spend hours and hours outside and is starting
to join Peter on his rollerblading rides around the neighborhood.
He
loves long car rides and visiting family with us back at home.
He makes friends everywhere he goes and is getting better with meeting
people. Smoke's sister got adopted the same day he did and we
have kept in touch with her so that they can reunite one day.
Smoke
is a happy, energetic, fun-loving dog. We are so happy that he
is now a part of our family and he makes us smile every day.
Thank
you so, so much!
