Sophie and I wanted to pass on a note (and a few photos) as this weekend marks our one year anniversary together after her adoption. We bonded very quickly and she made the return to being a dog owner (and accompanying early morning walks) very easy for me.
She is a joy to have and I thank all the forces at play for bringing us together - of course including the West Quebec SPCA and staff. I really valued the freedom I was given to spend some alone time with her while considering this big change and commitment.
She is a very active and happy little dog and gets lots of exercise both on and off leash. Last fall, she often accompanied me on 8 and even 10 km runs so we look forward to being able to do that again once the snow disappears and the trails open up.
Everywhere we go, she makes people smile and has become quite
confident (and enthusiastic) in meeting new people. Everyone
says how much she looks like a fox. She gets along with all the
other dogs we meet as well and as athletic as she is, loves a good
game of chase. Hope you don't mind all the photos, was hard to
stick with just one. Wishing you continued success in finding
great homes for great pets.
