I just wanted to update you on Yoshi, whom we adopted about 3 weeks ago. We have renamed him Spock, and he is the joy of our home (except for his dirty sock fetish, that is a pain). He is a quick learner and so easy to work with.
He fits right in with our family. Right away, it was like he had always been here. If his old family is ever looking for an update, please tell them that he is home and he is so loved! I feel so sad that family had to give him up, but so blessed that he has come into our home.
The effort to train him is obvious: he has manners, walks well on a leash, has excellent recall, waits for food, etc.. He had some small incontinence at first but he seems to have the hang of things now. It is clear that he has known love because he gives it readily--he is very affectionate and loves cuddles.
My favourite part about him is that he is super feisty; his personality is great and he makes me laugh constantly. I feel like I won the dog lottery. We are so happy to have him, he really has been such a joy for me in particular. Thank you.
