Suzie-Q is a little charm and has adapted to her new home very
quickly. We bought a cage (crate), food and water dishes and
toys on our way home. She loves the crate, goes in and snuggles
down on the pad, spends a
few minutes then comes out. The first night I took her outside at
11:30, she did what she had to, then I put her in bed and closed the
door. She slept
soundly through the night until we got up at 6 - without wetting her
bed.
She
isn't interested in walks just yet as she is so easily distracted by
what is outside the door. We have pebbles and stones in both our
front and back yards and she seems determined to pick each one up,
chew, suck, then spit it out. This along with chewing every plant she
sees keeps her interested.
Suzie-Q has had her stitches out and is under a vet's program for
vaccinations and general health. She is learning every day and
is keen to please.
Thank you to all at the WQ-SPCA. Suzie-Q is adorable (she hasn't
barked and is constantly wagging her tail).
