We just wanted to say how thrilled we are with the new puppy Trista (we kept the name that you had given her) that we adopted from you on Saturday! We understand that she had been with you almost from birth and it is obvious that she has been extremely well loved and taken care of.
She immediately settled beautifully into our home and our family's hearts - she's happy, healthy, playful, responsive, quick to learn, has kept her crate clean, and has slept through both nights here. What else could we ask for in a 4-month old pup?! Jenn, you and the others at the shelter were amazing! Please pass our thanks on to everyone there and to the wonderful foster families that have taken such great care of Trista!
As an update ... after 4 only days with us, Trista has already figured out how to safely climb up and down our hardwood stairs - she was very hesitant at first but after a few days, she worked it all out. She is also sitting and lying down on command and ringing a bell to be let outside.
She's made excellent progress with house training but isn't quite all the way there yet. She still sleeps through the night and hasn't even made a single mess in her crate! We think she's pretty amazing for a 4-month old pup! She seems very happy and content and she fits in very well with our family.
