We adopted William from the SPCA Western
Quebec through Petsmart on
Merivale Road and what can we say.
This handsome young cat has adjusted very well to his new forever
home.
He is a loving, vocal, energetic and
affectionate character. He walks or runs around the house moving
his toys all over the place. He enjoys his private time on his
perch where he can look outside.
Mirror, mirror! Who is the handsome
cat of all?
Recently he has taken up to moving his cat
toys around the house. Whether it be his wand or his stuffed
mice, you never know what we will find where.
When we watch TV he enjoys flopping down
beside us waiting for his belly rub.
Just the other morning we noticed that
some rolls we left in sealed bag in the kitchen had made their way to
the upstairs cat room. We noticed later that day that this very
sneaky cat had a thing for bread products as he was now deciding to
move a loaf of bread on the counter. Needless to say we have
since moved the bread.
Thank you for bringing William into our
lives.
Update July ’11 …
It has been one year since William joined our family. He remains
very vocal and active and loves his new brother,
Bruno (the dog), who joined the family three weeks ago.
William taunts Bruno to chase and play as well as gives him kisses
when the puppy is sleeping. Even though William has the run of
the house, when the dog is crated, William keeps him company outside
the crate.
Update February '13
William, who is 5 1/2, not knowing his upbringing, we seem to
believe he may have been raised with a dog, as they both get along
well playing chase, lying together and getting into whatever they can
together.
