information on a tiny portion of the available software related to amateur
radio:
General Logging Software
There are dozens
of general-purpose logging programs available, to suit every taste. Some
that I am familiar with:
- DXKeeper - this
one does it all, with an amazing list of features and unbeatable support.
- XMlog - another free Windows
logging program with a simple interface.

Contesting Software
There are many
contesting programs available. I have used the following:
- N1MM Logger - my current favourite,
a Windows contest logging program that supports RTTY and PSK31 as well
as CW and SSB, for both single users and networked multi-user stations.
Full-featured, does it all, and with an excellent manual and amazing support -
and it's free!
- TRLog - my former favourite.
Amazingly configurable, yet fast and easy to use. It's a DOS program,
though, and does not run under Windows XP.
- CT by K1EA - the
"standard", now available for free download.
- WriteLog - a commercial
Windows program, with built-in RTTY (TU or sound-card) and PSK31 support
in addition to CW and SSB.

versatile; supports many different log file formats, can produce labels
with multiple QSOs in many formats, and includes a file format
conversion utility.

your own computer-printed QSL cards.

program includes a very nice file conversion utility.

program also supports ADIF and Cabrillo formats.
