MoPar Experience is a club founded by Tony McLean and friends featuring a humourous and well-written monthly newsletter (published each and every month since August 1991 without interruption) and a parts and labour swap/referral services network. See us on the World Wide Web at myclassiccar.com, and in High Performance MoPar, in the Ottawa Citizen Wheels section and MoPar Collector's Guide (Dec. Issue). We wish to strengthen and protect the hobby against insurance company gouging, environ-mental cases and government threats, improve the cooperative nature of the MoPar obsession and lobby the NHRA for the return of a national event to Canadian soil.

A co-promoter of the June 1992 Southbank Dodge, July 1993 and 1994 Michael Davies Plymouth, October 1994 Orleans Dodge MoPar shows, and The Richmond Super Show June 15, 1997, Tony's passion for Chrysler Plymouth Dodge and Desoto dates back 29 years. He is the former vice president of Capital Area MoPars and founder of another club in addition to being the newsletter editor since day one.

Parts ads are free for members, who stretch from Montreal to Massachusetts to Ottawa/Hull to Toronto and Vancouver. Membership dues are only $30 CAN/$25 US and get you a funky t-shirt featuring the 1963 Turbine Car, the monthly newsletter "The Flying Scab Newsletter's Elapsed Times", consumer advice rating people, repros and services, comprehensive North American show listings each month and a watchdog column on big government, gas gouging and other threats to our beloved Penta-pets.

You'll enjoy following the adventures of local MoParites as well as savouring the frequent vinegar in our editorials! One U.S. parts vendor member gushed "You're the best MoPar connection I've ever made!" The promoters of Canada's largest MoPar show in New Hamburg said the newsletter is a "monthly masterpiece".
