Precision Quality ConstructionPrecision Thompson Linear bearings are on all axes. These recirculating ball bearings are extremely accurate and rugged. They guarantee very accurate reliable positioning and excellent cut quality. The hardened rails are bolted to the frame all along their length. The 48/96 uses a Sturdy Welded Steel Frame . It has Japaneese Nippon linear bearings and USA made rails on X ,Y . ( no cheap inferior chinese bearings like used on hobby cnc ) Zero-backlash Rack/Pinion drive allows high cuting speeds . Perfect for Complex GraphicsWith the 4896 you can easily do complex jobs that you would have previously thought too difficult or time consuming, such as inlaying metal into wood or cutting out elaborate graphic shapes .Advanced contouring at cutting speeds up to 240 in/min lets you cut complex graphics with curves and arcs smoothly and accurately. With its computer controlled 5 " z axis clearance and 6" stroke , the Canuck can cut thick materials such as wood or foam board using the multi-pass mode. With our StarCam for Windows controller software you can specify maximum depth per pass, whether or not you require a finish pass, cutting speed and finish pass speed. Our Starcam is the one of the easiest to use CNC controller in the industry ! The Canuck can engrave tiny letters smaller than .050" or cut signs 50" wide by any length in long sign mode . Options like 3D Digitizer probe for bringing 3d shapes into your Cadcam program with DXF..and Laser engraving and marking with the 15 watt solid state laser option . Gray scale engraving is easy using our StarCam layout program. You can mix Laser engraving and Routing in the same file and it will automatically cut both operations together in the same job. |
