Precision Thompson Linear bearings are on all axes. These recirculating ball bearings are extremely accurate and rugged. They guarantee very accurate reliable positioning and excellent cut quality. The hardened rails are bolted to the frame all along their length.

The System 60 uses heavy custom aluminum extrusion for the side beams and gantry It has thompson linear bearings and rails on X , Y and Z axes . Zero-backlash Rack/Pinion drive allows high cuting speeds .Powerful 650 oz/in Pacific Scientific XY stepper motors provide superior speed and cutting power. Optional 3 axis Servo motors are available

A Profitable Investment

 The System 60 can be used to Route, Engrave, 3D mill or plot all types of materials including plastic, acrylic, MDF, wood, composites, brass and aluminium. A 2 hp variable speed Boschrouter is standard with an optional 2hp or 7.5 Hp precision high frequency spindles for heavier cutting. This machine has the power to push a 7.5Hp to its limit.

With the 20" z axis option the System 60 is ideal for making very large 3d molds and models out of modeling materials such as wood foam, plastic etc.

It also has a removable center table section to allow parts up to 24" high to be machined.

Perfect for Complex Graphics

Advanced contouring at cutting speeds up to 400 in/min lets you cut complex graphics with curves and arcs smoothly and accurately. With its computer controlled 6" z axis clearance and 10" stroke , the System 60 can cut thick materials such as wood or foam board using the multi-pass mode. With our StarCam for Windows controller software you can specify maximum depth per pass, whether or not you require a finish pass, cutting speed and finish pass speed. Our Starcam is the easiest to use CNC controller in the industry !

 The System 60 can engrave tiny letters smaller than .050" or cut signs 50" wide by any length in long sign mode.
