family photos... an ongoing project.
It's getting easier and easier to have photos converted for computer use, especially with a digital camera.
Most of the bigger photo stores are now offering to put your photos onto a CD as well as onto the Internet so we
can all share in them. PhotoLab, for example, in
our local Loblaw's store, is where I had a lot of work done before I got my digital camera. Since starting this
project some years ago (I've been real slow in getting it on), many sophisticated software programs are now on
the market, making it easier and easier to do these kinds of pages.
If you have photos you would like to share, send them to me and I will try to add them to these pages. Please send me a little identifying caption to go with the picture. - Patrick

Some new offerings...
Here's a blast from the past. In 1964 while I was up in Prince George B.C.
with the R.C.M.P., I left the force to join the Oblates. I moved to Lejac Indian
Residential School, about 140 miles west, where the brothers soon had me
in charge of the school's fife and drum band. I had completely forgotten about
this time, until Jim Callanan, then an Oblate brother, found me on the Internet
and sent this picture in April 2005. Quelle surprise! this photo was taken on tour.
This photo was taken the same year, 1964. The Beatles had just hit the scene. We all
laughed when we saw them on The Ed Sullivan Show. This was taken during a soiree
at Prince George College, where I lived for a couple of months, working as a prefect
in the boy's dormatory, before moving out to Lejac. (Can't remember who the people are.)
