Cube Gallery is a contemporary art gallery that hosts a new group show every month. Centrally located in the heart of west-end Ottawa, Cube is just down from Ottawa’s famous Bagel Shop and Wellington Gastro Pub and a short stroll from the GCTC and other fine restaurants as well. The New Gallery is in the heart of the West Village, Ottawa's most vibrant arts and food area.

   Now in its fifth year of operation, Cube is the brainchild of Ottawa artist and curator Don Monet. The gallery boasts 2600 square feet of space with 12 foot ceilings in the main room and a generous salon area, the walls are painted a warm raw canvas colour, mixed by ourselves, ( it is available exclusively from ColourLux and called “cube”). The colour on the walls of the salon are several bold shades of grey, yellow, blue and red – creating the feeling of a warm home setting. "This is the kind of gallery that gives you room to really stand back and look at the art," says Monet. "It also allows Cube the flexibility to showcase substantial works of art - everything from 10 ft. sculptures to 20 ft. wall based paintings.

   Cube is more than a gallery. It is host to a number of cultural events from award winning plays and live dance performance to Jazz and piano concerts. A great place for a party, it also hosts private and public lectures, launches and receptions. We have played host to a number of weddings, poetry and book launches, as well as private dinner parties. A dynamic and welcoming art space that changes every month. The Cube is baby carriage and wheelchair friendly.
