NOW
Why NOW?

Incorporated and registered as a charitable non-governmental organization in 1989, Nepean Outreach to the World (NOW) was created to promote solidarity between the City of Nepean, Ontario, Canada, and the West African city of Bo, Sierra Leone. 

We, in Canada, enjoy the highest quality of life according to the United Nations Human Development Index (HDI). 

Sierra Leone, a sister commonwealth country, is at the very bottom of that same index. 

The directors of NOW believe that our responsibility to one another is at the apex of human existence and has a bearing on the very well-being of society. (Maurice Strong, President, United Nations Earth Summit). 

As a community based non-profit group of volunteers we believe we can play an important part in making our world a better and more peaceful place for ourselves and our children.
